Mica Design was founded by Eugene Marsden and is operated alongside Maria Perrone. Together they bring practical experience across branding, websites, business systems, education, digital strategy and workflow improvement — working directly with Australian businesses from our base on the Gold Coast, Queensland.

With experience across website development, custom applications, business systems, digital strategy, and education, he enjoys turning complex ideas into tools that make everyday work easier.
From custom platforms and internal business systems to large-scale website projects, Eugene works directly with clients to understand their goals, solve operational challenges, and deliver solutions that create lasting value. He leads the technical and strategic direction of every project from concept through to launch.
Maria brings a unique combination of engineering, project management, communication, and problem-solving to Mica Design. She works closely with clients to understand their processes, challenges, and goals, then helps translate those conversations into clear project direction and software requirements.
Maria is passionate about bridging the gap between people and technology. By combining strong communication skills with analytical thinking, she helps ensure every project stays focused on solving the right problems and delivering systems that genuinely improve the way businesses operate.
