App Development
App Store Account Setup
Before we can publish your app on the Apple App Store, you need to own an Apple Developer account. This account belongs to you — not us — which means you stay in full control of your app and can manage it independently in the future.
Before you start
This takes around 20–30 minutes and is done entirely in your browser. You will need a credit or debit card. Use an email address you check regularly — Apple will send important notifications to this address. The annual fee is USD $99.

Creating your Apple Developer account
Create an Apple ID (skip if you already have one)
Go to appleid.apple.com and create a personal Apple ID. Use an email address you own and check regularly — this will be permanently linked to your developer account.
Tip: Do not use an @icloud.com email if you can avoid it. Use your business email or a Gmail address.
Go to the Apple Developer Program enrolment page
Visit developer.apple.com/programs/enroll and click 'Start Your Enrollment'.
Sign in with your Apple ID
Use the Apple ID you created or already have. You may be asked to verify your identity with two-factor authentication.
Choose 'Individual / Sole Proprietor / Single Person Business'
Select this option unless you are enrolling on behalf of a company with an Australian Business Number (ABN) and a D-U-N-S number. Most clients choose Individual.
Tip: Do not choose 'Organisation' unless you have a registered Australian business and a D-U-N-S number. Getting a D-U-N-S number adds weeks of delays.
Fill in your personal details
Enter your legal name, address, and phone number. These must match your identity documents as Apple may verify them.
Review and agree to the Apple Developer Agreement
Read through the agreement and tick the checkbox to accept the terms. Scroll all the way to the bottom before the button becomes active.
Pay the annual fee — USD $99
Enter your credit or debit card details. The fee is charged in US dollars and renews automatically each year. Make a note of the renewal date.
Wait for the confirmation email
Apple will send a confirmation email to your Apple ID address, usually within 24 hours. Occasionally it takes up to 48 hours.
Tip: If you haven't heard back after 48 hours, check your spam folder. If still nothing, contact Apple Developer Support at developer.apple.com/contact.
Send us your Apple ID email address
Once your account is activated, send us the email address linked to your Apple ID. We will use it to add ourselves as a team member so we can submit your app for review.
